We:

• have a long-standing relationship with the local Traditional Owners, the Boon Wurrung
• work with the Stonnington community to bring about change
• educate ourselves about true history, white privilege, what we can do
• work closely with City of Stonnington councillors and staff and local MPs; Council provides an annual grant
• participate in the development and monitoring of Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan
• provide information to the community via public speaking to community, school and business groups, distributing information at reconciliation events
• support Reconciliation Victoria and ANTaR Victoria and work closely with neighbouring local reconciliation groups – Port Phillip and Boroondara
• support reconciliation in the early childhood sector where several of our members work - there are terrific initiatives in the sector, with powerful opportunities for influence and engagement
• meet monthly (not January) to discuss these matters, raise our understanding and identify ways to influence the community to achieve our aims
